All participants in these Stilbaai Heritage walks or trips, do so entirely at their own risk and must accept the risk of any nature whatsoever, whether reasonable or otherwise. While the facilitator / guide will always consider the safety of participants and take measures to ensure this, there will be no ground for any participant to hold the facilitator, guide, suppliers and/or subcontractors liable for any loss or damage sustained during a walk or trip.

Participants in the 3-Day trips will have to sign an indemnity form before the trip commences.

Cancellation and refund policy:

For a day or half-day booking, a refund can only be done if a whole trip is cancelled at least 3 full days before the walk or day trip. If an individual cancel more than 3 days before the trip and there are still 4 or more people left in the group, a full refund can be done. If less than 4 remains, no refund. A 5% cancellation fee will apply. To qualify for a refund, the notice of cancellation must be sent directly to the facilitator or guide, who’s details are on this website.

For the 3-Day trips, a full refund (minus a 5% cancellation fee) can only be done if the notice of cancellation is received at least 30 days before the trip starts, and if there are still 6 or more participants left. If the whole group cancels (more than 30 days before the trip), only 50% of the fees can be refunded. If an individual or group cancels shorter than 30 days before the trip, only 25% of the fees can be refunded.
